March Session · Focus on Intensification
A virtual workshop for educators working beyond core instruction who want to strengthen their ability to respond when students make slow or inconsistent progress in intervention.
This session is a deep dive into data-based individualization (DBI) and intervention intensity, with a focus on how expert interventionists:
interpret progress-monitoring trends for slow or inconsistent responders
use a taxonomy of intervention intensity to guide decision making
strategically increase intensity using data-informed “levers” such as dosage, explicitness, and opportunities to respond
This is not a session on switching programs or “trying something new.”
The focus is on how to intensify instruction deliberately and systematically based on student response data.
a clearer framework for using DBI to guide intensification decisions
an understanding of key dimensions of intervention intensity and how they interact
practical guidance for adjusting dosage, explicitness, and practice opportunities based on student data
greater confidence in responding to students who show slow or inconsistent progress
Date: March
Live virtual session (2 hours)
Replay and materials included
This registration is for the March session only.
Participants may register for individual sessions or enroll in the full Winter Series separately.
