A virtual workshop for educators working beyond core instruction who want to strengthen the design and delivery of explicit literacy intervention.
This session is a deep dive into intervention-focused instructional design, with attention to how effective interventionists:
design explicit instruction for small-group and intensive settings
apply principles from the science of learning and instruction
structure modeling, guided practice, feedback, and practice opportunities
This is not a general session on classroom instruction.
The focus is on how interventionists design and deliver instruction when students require more than core support.
a clearer framework for designing explicit instruction in intervention contexts
practical guidance for applying learning science to intervention routines
tools for structuring lessons that increase practice, feedback, and intensity
greater confidence in delivering instruction for Tier 2 and Tier 3 students
