A virtual workshop for educators working beyond core instruction who want to strengthen their use of assessment data in literacy intervention.
This session is a deep dive into assessment for intervention, with a focus on how experienced interventionists:
interpret progress-monitoring data
use diagnostic information to identify instructional targets
make data-based decisions about what to teach next
This is not a general overview of assessment tools.
The focus is on how to think with data when supporting students who require Tier 2 or Tier 3 intervention.
By the end of this session, you will have:
a clearer framework for using progress-monitoring data to guide instruction
practical guidance for moving from assessment results to instructional decisions
a stronger understanding of how diagnostics inform intervention planning
greater confidence in using data as part of an ongoing intervention cycle
