Intensive Intervention Lab: Using Data to Drive Adolescent Word Reading Intervention

$49.00

This intensive intervention lab is a practical, working session designed for secondary educators who want to deepen their practice around data-based individualization (DBI) and intensify decoding instruction for students who need more intensive intervention.

Whether you're a teacher, interventionist, SPED case manager, or instructional coach, this session will guide you step-by-step through using diagnostic and progress monitoring data to design and adjust effective word reading interventions for Grades 5–12.

What You’ll Build During the Lab:

  • A customized decoding assessment protocol for your classroom or school

  • A student profile-to-instruction map that helps you choose the right intervention focus (phonics, morphology, fluency)

  • A complete DBI action plan, including:

    • Measurable goals

    • Progress monitoring schedule

    • Clear “intensification rules” for slow responders

You’ll leave with ready-to-use planning tools, progress monitoring templates, and a certificate for 2 hours of professional development.

Limited to 25 participants.

All proceeds from this workshop help fund sliding-scale and pro bono advocacy services for families who otherwise wouldn’t be able to access expert support. Your registration supports both your learning and someone else’s opportunity.
